Understanding that some folks creat thier program file folders differently than others, perhaps it would be fair to say that CCP's method works for some, but for others I reckon it wont - so heres a decent thought thru workaround for any who can use it. So, no friend - I did not type it wrong and no it does not work as CCP directs in the how to page - that takes you to an incompatible version of SISI - what I did DOES work and I have done it twice on two seperate accounts to double check - and the eve.exe Safemode is already a shortcut in the folder and accepts the suffix readily - Creating the prescribed shortcut with the normal eve.exe application file, failed, and would not even accept the suffix in the target line, period, and finally no I did not install to my TQ folder - I am actually wee bit knowing of the ins and outs of what to put where, cuz I be smart!lol. Here is how I did it once more:

Step 1: Create the new folder in program files C:\Program Files\CCP Singularity, then from your normal CCP file, copy the eve folder within and paste it into the new folder

Step 2: Download the test client for SISI from this page: http://support.eve-online.com/Pages/KB/Article.aspx?id=33 - it will provide the proper link to the client test server dnloads page - save it to desktop.

Step 3: Run the install and save to the new folder CCP Singularity\Eve

Step 4: Open the new EVE folder, ignore the normal eve.exe application, and locate the file eve.exe (Safemode) - this is the critical part so do it as I have it here.

Step 5: From the eve support page linked above, locate the server suffix "/server:87.237.38.50 " and copy this.

Step 6: Now right click on the eve.exe (Safemode) shortcut application and click properties. Once this is open, at the Target Line delete just the word "Safemode" and paste the copied Server suffix right after the quotation marks at the end of \eve.exe" portion of the target line name.
It should look like this: "C:\Program Files\CCP Singularity\EVE\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50 . Then click Apply and OK.

Step 7: Now click the eve.exe Safemode shortcut and verify that it takes you to a current version of SISI - if this works, pin that shortcut to yur start menu or desktop alongside or below yur regular eve icon - u can rename it to whatever u want - I prefer "Singularity". I will see u all in SISI - if it does NOT work, let me know asap and I will walk u thru it all
